Trump: Most of Vance's statements about the election results are true.

After the defeat of the Republicans in the elections, Donald Trump, in a statement to reporters at the White House, said that most of the points raised by his deputy, Jeddy Vance, regarding the reasons for this defeat are correct.

Mr. Trump said: "The Iran war will make diesel more expensive, and people were angry about this price increase, not about the war."

He again defended his decision to strike Iran.

In the past, Mr. Vance said that the war with Iran was the main reason for the defeat of the Republicans in the election.

Elsewhere in his speech, Mr. Trump said he was willing to work with Democrats, but if they wanted to "block" the government's plans, he would use his veto power to prevent their approvals from being implemented.

In response to a question about the results, Mr. Trump said: "If my name was on the ballot, we would have won." Referring to the election campaigns of the previous weeks, he said that "the fans did not find the love they have for me in the candidates".

He also said of Pete Heggst, the defense minister, he has done his job well and his firing is not on the agenda.
