Reza Shahfah, Amirosin Mousavi's lawyer, announced that his client was convicted of the "crime of corruption in Pilarez" and sentenced to death for his activities on social networks. Amirosin Mousavi, who was active on Channel X with the user account "James Bidin" and criticized the government, has been detained since December 19 last year.
The hearing of Emir Hossein Mousavi's accusations was held in Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran, presided over by Abolkasem Salvati.
Amirhossein Mousavi has been detained since December 1403. He and his wife were stopped at Maharabad Airport on their way to Kish. Mr. Mousavi's wife was released on bail two weeks later.
Sedavasima broadcast Mr Mousavi's forced confession after months of isolation last year.
In Evin Prison he was denied basic rights, including access to medical services.
