Donald Trump told the Financial Times newspaper that he currently has no plans for an immediate ground attack on Iran.

A few hours before the end of voting in the congressional elections, the President of the United States said in a six-minute telephone interview to this newspaper: "It seems that we are getting everything we want."

Donald Trump described the situation as "brilliant" and referring to Iran's naval blockade and sanctions, he said America is not "actually" fighting Iran:.

"We are not really at war, because we attacked them on the ground with B-2 bombers and destroyed their nuclear potential. Then we did the anger of Hamas." He then added that "actually we haven't had a war with them for a long time. Six months, maybe more."

Expressing his satisfaction with the current situation, he said that America is "ready to continue the war".
