In a few minutes we will see the initial results of a national voter survey. This will be the first important clue about the motivations of voters on election day.

In this survey, tens of thousands of people were asked about their opinions and the most important concerns about the country. For the rest of the night, we can also examine how these views differ based on age, gender, education level, and other demographic characteristics.

Starting at 5:00 PM EST, we'll start posting some of those results right here.

Then at 6:00 PM EST, the first polls in the US will close to voters. An hour later we can start publishing the initial results of the elections in some constituencies.
