Mohsen Razai: America's response to Iran's demands was not convincing.
The secretary of Iran's National Security Council says that the American response to Iran's demands was not "convincing".
Mohsen Razai wrote on Channel X: "The American response to Iran's rights and demands was not convincing, and they must respond fully and explicitly to Iran's seven conditions and act on them." Only then will the Strait of Hormuz be opened."
Over the past few days, Iran and the US have been negotiating through Qatari mediators to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the results of which are still unknown. Jeddy Vance, Donald Trump's deputy, named Mohsen Rezaei last week.
The news that Mr. Razai responded to this letter was not published, but Iraqi Abbas said yesterday that since this letter was written to the Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security, the decision to respond is his responsibility.
