Arif: America's messages through intermediaries are a sign of agreement with Iran's victory.
Mohammad Reza Aref, Iran's first vice president, said that the messages sent by America through intermediaries show that Washington has accepted Iran's "victory" in the Middle East war.
According to IRNA, Mr Aref said on Monday: "Our enemy has failed to achieve any of its goals in the last two wars."
He added: "Even today, according to its goals and concerns about internal public opinion, the United States engages in various maneuvers, but the messages conveyed to Iran through intermediaries show acceptance of our victory."
On the other hand, the US government did not describe the negotiations with Iran in the sense of accepting a victory for Tehran.
According to Axius, J. Dee Vance, the vice president of the United States, emphasized in a letter to Moshan Razai that any negotiations to prevent new attacks by the United States must include the issue of Iran's nuclear program. Despite emphasizing the constructiveness of the speeches, Donald Trump again threatened that he might resume military strikes against Iran after the November 3 midterm elections.
