The Revolutionary Guards Navy says that 11 oil tankers caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz in the last nine days.
"From October 25 (the date of Centcom commander Brad Cooper's demonstration visit to the Strait of Hormuz) until today (9 days), 11 criminal tankers caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz and some of them sank in the deep sea," the IRGC's navy statement on X reads.
At the same time, the Iranian media reports that an oil tanker caught fire today after hitting a mine in the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz.
