Reuters: Persian Gulf countries are concerned about Iran's retaliatory attacks in the event of war.

Reuters reported that Donald Trump's threat to strike Iran again on the ground has greatly worried America's allies in the Persian Gulf.

They are worried about the beginning of another war, which will be decided in Washington, but will make the US military bases in the countries of the region the target of Iran's retaliatory attacks.

According to Reuters, Iran's missile attacks on US military bases and the energy facilities of the Persian Gulf states in the previous round of the war exposed the vulnerability of Washington's decades-old security structure in the region.

Rather than being contained, the massive US military presence provided Iran with constant targets and put host countries under pressure.

These concerns were among the main issues discussed by ministers, policy makers and security officials at the annual Manama Security Conference in Bahrain, which took place in recent days. Donald Trump has threatened that he may carry out a "small act of Hamas outrage" after the November 3 midterm elections.

Four European officials told Reuters that America has deployed enough troops and military equipment in the region to be able to launch a ground attack on Iran in the shortest possible time, probably this week.

Another European official in close contact with Persian Gulf leaders told Reuters: "War is coming. "No one is in favor of this war."

Badr Abdel Ati, the Egyptian foreign minister, also warned at the Manama meeting that the next war will be more dangerous and destructive than the previous one and "will not go anywhere".
