The stock markets in the Persian Gulf in the shadow of Iran and Qatar negotiations; Growth of 2.2% in the Doha Stock Exchange.

The stock markets of the Persian Gulf countries performed mixed in Monday morning trading. Investors are looking at the talks between the Iranian and Qatari authorities to reach an agreement with the aim of ending the war between the US and Israel's captives with Iran.

These rumors persist as concerns about the possibility of escalating clashes after the US midterm elections on November 3 have grown. Donald Trump said the US would not launch new attacks against Iran before the election, and negotiations with Tehran were productive, but he did not rule out the possibility of military action after the election.

According to Reuters, in initial trading, Qatar's stock index rose 2.2 percent and the shares of all companies included in this index rose. Shares of Qatar National Bank rose 2% and Qatar Industries, associated with the country's energy sector, rose 7.7%. This report also shows that the stock market index of Saudi Arabia also increased by 0.6%, which was mainly due to the increase in the value of real estate shares, industry and public services.

On the other hand, the Abu Dhabi stock market index fell by 0.1% and the Dubai stock market index fell by 0.3%.

The Qatar Energy Company's efforts for a long-term supply of liquefied natural gas from America and other producers also helped to strengthen the positive atmosphere of the Qatari market. The company is trying to protect its revenues against possible disruption of exports from the Strait of Hormuz in the future by diversifying its gas supply sources.
