Iran's former foreign minister: The scope of the new war is reaching Europe.
Manouchehr Mutaki, the former foreign minister of Iran and the current representative of the parliament in that country, said that if a new conflict between America and Iran begins, the scope of the war will go beyond the geography of the region and include Europe as well.
According to the Fars news agency, Mr Mutaki said: "The European insurgents who have given their bases to America are complicit in the crime, and the removal of the geographical restriction has a clear meaning for our fighters, our nation, foreign parties and our enemies."
Last month, the security incident near Farford Air Force Base in the United Kingdom was deemed "related to Iran" by the political authorities in that country, and the United States also made a sudden decision to withdraw all its bombers from this base.
