The Revolutionary Guards announced the explosion of two oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz after hitting a naval mine.

The IRGC's public relations say that in the Strait of Hormuz, two oil tankers were hit by sea mines and exploded while traveling on an "unauthorized route".

In this message, one of these vessels is declared a "wide tanker" and the Revolutionary Guards say that this vessel is on fire after a severe explosion.

According to previous similar messages, the Revolutionary Guards accused these ships of turning off their navigation and identification systems and said that they intended to pass "secretly" through the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, the British Merchant Marine Operations Organization announced an hour earlier that a ship had been targeted by an "unknown missile".

The Vanguard Institute, which monitors maritime traffic in various parts of the world, says that one of these Panamanian-flagged vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz and after an explosion and fire, part of it entered the water. In recent weeks, the Central Command of the US military has denied that the vessels collided with naval mines and said that Iran is using missiles and drones to attack these vessels.
