In June 1926, an elderly man in disheveled clothes was hit by a streetcar while crossing the street on his way to church. A few days later, he died in a hospital for the poor.

That man was Antoni Gaudi; The one who later became known as the "Architect of God".

Gaudi left a huge task unfinished. He died in the middle of the construction of Sagrada Familia, the iconic and towering building of Barcelona in northeastern Spain.

In the distance, the church rises above the Barcelona skyline like a living giant. The closer you get to it, the more it resembles a living creature. Its amazing and detailed displays, depicting scenes from the Book of Jerusalem, look as if they grew from the heart of the stone.
