Massive demonstrations by protesters against the ban on the Palestinian Action Group in front of the American Embassy in London.

Nearly 140 people were arrested during the largest demonstration that took place during Prime Minister Andy Burnham's tenure in Great Britain against the ban on the activities of the "Action for Palestine" group.

Hundreds of people gathered in front of the US Embassy in London, holding placards that read: "I oppose genocide; I support "Action for Palestine". Also, a group of protesters gathered in front of the American Consulate in Edinburgh in support of this organization.

Before the rally in London, the Metropolitan Police warned participants that "as part of a major police operation, they may be arrested".

The police also said that anyone who "played a central role in organizing the event, or directing others or providing logistical support for the demonstration," likely committed a crime. Last year, the British government declared the organization "Action for Palestine" as an "illegal assassin" organization. This ban makes membership in this group or its support a crime that can lead to up to 14 years in prison.

The British government's decision to include this organization in the list of "assassin" organizations faced protest from parts of society in this country.
