Iran's foreign minister confirmed the presence of the Iranian delegation in Doha, but said that Iranian officials do not intend to meet with the American side.

Abbas Iraqichi told Al Jazeera that the news published about such a meeting was "just media speculation".

Mr. Iraqchi also said that Iran had "carefully" considered the message from Jeddy Vance, the vice president of the United States, in "high-level meetings."

He emphasized that only after Washington agrees to Iran's conditions, a decision will be made on direct or indirect talks with America.

Simultaneously with the publication of the report on the Iranian delegation's visit to Doha, the Qatari newspaper "Al-Arabiya Jadid" announced the progress of the negotiations between Tehran and Washington, citing sources close to the mediators, and reported that an American delegation would also arrive in Doha for "direct negotiations" with Iran.

This news was published after the talks that lasted 12 hours between the Qatari mediators and the Iranian authorities and the website Axios reports on the continuation of these negotiations in Doha. According to the Axios report, Qatari mediators were in constant contact with the White House during the 12-hour meeting on Friday.
