The official website of Mujtaba Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, reported that in a "meeting" with the commanders of the Iranian armed forces, he ordered them to respond "immediately and without geographical limitations" to any threat from the enemy.
According to the text published on this website, he also ordered the list of military targets to be updated so that the "material and immaterial" assets of the United States and Israeli prisoners would be targeted by Iranian forces.
The leader of the Salami Republic was also quoted as saying that in the event of any new military ground attack or "assassination" attack, Iran would determine the date and conditions for ending the conflict.
It was reported that the head of the army division Ali Abdullahi, the chief of staff of the armed military forces, the head of the army division Amir Hatami, the army commander, and the head of the army division Ahmed Wahidi, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards, were present at this meeting. Mujtaba Khamenei has not been seen in public since his father was killed in the 40-day war and succeeded as leader of the Islamic Republic, and no audio or video of him has been released.
