US President Donald Trump said there are talks with Iran.
In response to a White House reporter's question about these negotiations, he said: "They want to say, and they say, frankly, we have time."
Mr. Trump also described the war with Iran as an unusual and cheap situation for American taxpayers.
At the same time, reports indicate that the Qatari mediators in Tehran have been talking for a long time about the latest American proposal to renew peace negotiations.
