Barak Ravid: Qatari mediators are in Tehran to check the latest American offer.

Barak Ravid, an Axios reporter, reported on the X social network, citing a diplomatic source, that Qatari mediators are in Tehran today to discuss the latest American proposal to renew peace negotiations with Iranian officials.

Earlier, the IRNA news agency confirmed the arrival of the Qatari delegation to Tehran and announced that the purpose of the trip is to discuss relations and bilateral developments in the region. Reuters also reported that this trip was matched by Washington.

This trip was made while the American media informed Mohsen Razai before sending the letter from the Vice President of the United States, JD Vance. Axios quoted an American official and wrote that in this letter Vance emphasized the necessity to bring up the nuclear issue in the negotiations. The New York Times also reported that Vance offered direct negotiations and announced his willingness to lead them.
