The Salami Republic's news agency, IRNA, confirmed that a Qatari delegation arrived in Tehran on the morning of Friday, November 8, to talk with senior Iranian officials.
According to IRNA, this delegation is led by the senior adviser to the prime minister and the foreign minister of Qatar and is supposed to discuss relations and bilateral developments in the region.
In the past, Reuters reported, citing an informed source, that Qatari mediators are traveling to Tehran in coordination with Washington as part of efforts to reach an agreement between Iran and the United States.
In its report, IRNA did not mention the role of this delegation in possible negotiations between Iran and the US.
