Egypt's Ministry of Interior has ordered the shutdown of all digital advertising screens in Cairo. This decision was made after one of these screens on Main Street played a pornographic film.

The operating company of this display announced that the giant billboard was hacked and the perpetrators of this operation have not yet been identified. Egyptian security forces are investigating this incident.

Below the images of this film, the web address of the hacker group was displayed, through which this group demanded a ransom.

This is not the first time that broadcasting unauthorized content from public screens in Egypt makes news. Two years ago, a billboard in Giza was turned off after displaying critical images of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi.
