Wall Street Journal: The US military presented Trump with options related to Iran.
The Wall Street Journal, citing American officials and knowledgeable sources, reported that Brad Cooper, the head of CENTCOM, presented military options against Iran to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, in a personal meeting at the White House.
In recent days, Donald Trump has repeatedly spoken about the possibility of resuming a military ground attack against Iran, and according to reports, any possible ground attack could take place after the American midterm elections in November.
Meanwhile, it was announced on Wednesday that J. Dee Vance, Donald Trump's vice president, has sent names to the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council that US officials say contain proposals to renew negotiations and create facilities to import some essential items, including medicine, to Iran.
