Britain's King Charles III ditched royal formalities and danced at a street party on the second day of his nine-day trip to the Caribbean.

Britain's King Charles III ditched royal formalities and danced at a street party on the second day of his nine-day trip to the Caribbean.

Charles III, holding a pair of traditional maracas in the colors of the Bahamian flag, accompanied street dancers in the center of the Bahamas.

The ceremony had a more cheerful atmosphere than Charles III's speech when he arrived in the Bahamas.

On the first day of the trip he talked about the "suffering and pain of the past" and at the ceremony among the youth he said that the culture of this country was "born from the heart of darkness" and acknowledged that "historical injustices are a right and proper thing to do."

This trip takes place in a situation where the Caribbean countries have once again demanded an apology from Britain for its role in the sale and purchase of human beings during slavery.

Before the trip, Buckingham Palace announced that the king would not refrain from referring to the "legacy of colonialism" and the consequences of the slave trade during his visit. However, according to the British government's official position, he will not apologize for Britain's role in the slave trade or offer compensation.
