Yitzhak Herzog, the president of the POWs in Israel, called for a "complete" investigation into the allegation of foreign interference in that country's elections, but warned that such an investigation should not "distort" the faces of all Arab Israeli POWs.

After Benjamin Netanyahu and his allies demanded an "electoral bribe" to the Israeli Arab prisoners in order to increase their participation in the elections, the internal security organization of the Israeli prisoners, the Shin Bet, was tasked with investigating the allegations related to the possible transfer of funds from Turkey and Qatar to the Israeli prisoners in order to influence the Arab communities.

The "Joint List" party, which is a coalition of mostly captive Arab Israeli parties, found Benjamin Netanyahu's claim of fraud and foreign interference in the elections to be unfounded and accused him of trying to cast doubt on the results of the vote.

The coalition statement said: "The provocative campaign of Netanyahu and his fascist coalition against the voices of the Arab citizens reveals their fear of the political power of this community." Qatar has also denied any interference in the captive elections in its statements.
