Basant: With the success of the economic isolation operation, the Revolutionary Guards are talking about collapse.

The US Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessant, says that as a result of "Operation Economic Isolation", Iran is cutting funding to its missions.

On Wednesday, in an interview with CNBC, Basant assessed US efforts to isolate Iran's economy as "very successful."

According to him, "In the summer, Iranian officials began to express clear concern about the economic situation. Now, the Revolutionary Guards are very worried and they are talking about a collapse in public and in private circles."

Referring to the cutting off of Iran's access to dollars, Mr. Besant added: "We are witnessing that the budget of Iran's proxy groups, whether the Houthis, Hamas or Hezbollah, is cut off."

Meanwhile, last Monday, Reuters reported, citing a knowledgeable source close to Hezbollah, that this group received tens of millions of dollars in aid from Iran to strengthen its military capabilities. However, due to economic pressures, the official inflation rate in Iran reached the highest figure since 1322.

Reports indicate that the official inflation rate in Iran has risen for the 20th month in a row.

According to the surveys of the Iranian Statistics Center, the annual inflation rate in October 1405 increased by more than three percentage points compared to the previous month and reached 76.8%.

This means that the prices of consumer goods and services in October this year were higher on average by 4.4% from September this year and 88.7% from October 1404.
