What happened with 85% of the votes counted in the captive elections, Netanyahu is in the lead.
So far, more than 85 percent of the votes have been counted in the captive elections, but neither faction has won the necessary majority of seats in parliament. Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition still has the most votes, but its number of mandates has dropped to 54. The number of mandates of Mr. Netanyahu's rival party, Gadi Eisenkot, also reached 49, while the "Arab List" parties increased the number of seats to 19. The winning coalition needs at least 61 mandates in the government to form a government majority in the Knesset. Current results are not final and may change.
