🔻 Today's Tehran newspapers gave extensive coverage to Massoud Pazhkian's meeting with Vladimir Putin yesterday in Moscow.
The presidents of Iran and Russia met yesterday on the sidelines of the Gas Exporters Forum summit. Iran's state newspaper called Mr. Pazhkian "Putin's special guest in the Kremlin" and the economic and security world newspapers described this meeting as important in the tense days between Iran and the US and the possibility of another round of military strikes.
Today's newspapers published in Tehran do not have a major report on the selection of the prisoners on the front pages and they passed it by in silence. Despite the lack of coverage of the captive elections in the newspapers, the main news agencies inside Iran and the state television channels devoted a considerable part of their news to the results of the captive elections.
