María Corina Machado, the leader of the opposition in Venezuela, returned to her country yesterday, Sunday (October 25), after more than 10 months of exile.

His return came after several failed attempts to re-enter Venezuela.

A huge crowd of Machado fans greeted him in the streets of Caracas.

Many lined up on his way in the capital of Venezuela.

The United States arrested his rival Nicolas Maduro in January.

A month before Maduro was arrested, Machado fled Venezuela in the dark of night to receive the Nobel Peace Prize in Norway.

The Trump administration then supported Maduro's vice president as the country's leader, and he was sworn in as Venezuela's interim president.
