Axios: On the eve of the election, Netanyahu twice publicly asked Trump to support him.
Axios reporter Barak Ravid reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Donald Trump twice in the last three days and asked him to publicly support him on the eve of the parliamentary elections in Israel.
According to American sources and Israeli captives, Netanyahu even suggested texts for Trump's new messages of support.
In a new message, Trump asked the captive Israeli voters to vote for Netanyahu, and referring to the military operation against Iran, he said: "We must finish what we started together."
Barak Ravid, in response to this announcement, warned that Trump's new support coincides with Netanyahu's ongoing pressure to conduct overt or covert military operations against Iran, even before the elections.
He described the current situation as "very dangerous".
