International Energy Agency: Energy markets will not return to pre-war conditions in 2027.
Petah Birol, Director General of the International Energy Agency, predicted that the global energy markets will not return to the situation before the start of the war in Iran in 2027.
"Unfortunately, I don't see a realistic way in which the energy markets will be able to return to the conditions before this war started," he said on Monday, October 26, at the Singapore Energy Week International Conference.
Referring to the consequences of the war that began at the end of February, Mr. Birol emphasized that governments and companies must prepare themselves for the continuation of this situation and make energy security a priority.
He added that at the same time, countries and companies should not neglect planning for the next phase of developments in the energy sector.
