Marine Le Pen, leader of the far-right party in the French National Assembly, launched her election campaign for next year's presidential election at a rally in Orleans.
Mrs Le Pen told 10,000 members of her party that after years of "absurd" political elections, France needed a "renaissance".
Ms Le Pen promised to prevent crime from taking over France "like in Mexico" by restoring the rule of law.
Marine Le Pen also said French identity had been "marginalized" for too long.
Ms. Le Pen is leading in the polls amid weeks of rising cost of living that have turned into riots and violence.
Ms. Le Pen's main rival is currently Jean-Luc Melanchon, leader of France's radical left-wing party, Tessel Yemen.
More than 400,000 people marched yesterday, Saturday, in the major cities of France to intercept the increase in the cost of living. Unions and yellow jacket protesters have vowed to continue their street marches in the coming weeks, signaling growing tension as the election nears.
