Following the holding of a controversial sports and bodybuilding exhibition in Tehran, the Ministry of Sports announced that it had nothing to do with the holding of this event and did not issue a license for it.

Some of the pictures published from the "Pitex" exhibition, which showed women doing sports and acrobatics or doing sports with music, were severely criticized by Iran's government media, such as Sadabsima and Fars and Tasanim news agencies.

An exhibition of fitness, bodybuilding and sports equipment called "Fitex" was held from Wednesday, October 21 to November 1, at the Seidogo Park Hall in the Gishi neighborhood of Tehran.

Sadbasima called the holding of this exhibition "continuation of anomalies in sports events, in the shadow of a lack of supervision" and demanded that the authorities take action.

In its announcement published on Sunday, October 25, Iran's Ministry of Sports announced that it will investigate reports related to "non-observance of Islamic rules" as part of "the framework of its supervisory duties and responsibilities" in this exhibition.
