Media in Iran announced the re-opening of the border crossing in Ramadan between Pakistan and Iran.
Fayman Sanandji, head of the transportation committee of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, told the Mehr news agency that the activity of the Ramadan trade border between Iran and Pakistan has resumed.
The Fars news agency also wrote that Pakistan reopened the Gebad-Rimdan border crossing in the Gwadar region and "the passage of trucks carrying liquefied gas and basic products has resumed."
Fars wrote in his report that Pakistan closed this crossing "for security reasons and to fight smuggling" last week.
In another part of the interview with the "Mehar" news agency, Fayman Sanandji also said regarding the border crossings with Iraq that with the exception of the "Al-Shib" border, all the crossings between the two countries are open and traffic continues without problems.
The news related to the activity of the land crossings between Iran and other countries follows with greater sensitivity after the United States announced the "economic isolation of Iran" operation. Following Iran's naval blockade of the south of the country and the restrictions on Iranian airlines, the passage of goods through Iran's land borders has increased.
