The possibility that the American interest rate will remain stable despite the inflationary pressure caused by the war with Iran.

Analysts predict that the Central Bank of America (Federal Reserve), despite the continued inflationary pressures caused by the increase in energy prices and the war with Iran, will leave interest rates unchanged at its meeting this week.

This bank's two-day meeting will begin on Tuesday, October 27, and its final decision will be announced on Wednesday. In September, this institution raised the interest rate for the first time in the last three years and brought it to a range between 75.3 and 4%.

The war between America and Israel's captives with Iran, which began at the end of February, led to a sharp increase in the global price of oil and gas. Disruption in the transfer of energy from the Persian Gulf and Donald Trump's tariff policy also fueled the increase in the prices of goods and services in the United States.

Loretta Mester, one of the former senior officials of the US central bank, told the French news agency that due to continued inflation above the two percent target and the stability of the labor market, economic conditions again justify raising interest rates. However, he predicted policymakers would likely wait until the December meeting.

This decision will be made on the eve of the midterm elections on November 3 in the United States. Trump has repeatedly called for lowering interest rates, but Mrs. Master emphasized that central bank decisions are made based on economic conditions and political considerations do not play a role in them.
