The King of Jordan demanded an "iron fist" to deal with the perpetrators of the ground attack on the Kirk Church.

King Abdullah II, King of Jordan, ordered the security forces of that country to deal with the perpetrators of an armed ground attack at a funeral ceremony in a church in Kirkuk district with an "iron fist".

According to the announcement of the Royal Court of Jordan, King Abdullah called the ground attack on the church on Friday "an act of assassination and abomination" at the meeting of the National Security Council of that country on Saturday and emphasized that there is no acceptable reconciliation regarding the lives of Jordanian citizens.

He also said that the security and lives of Jordanian citizens are a red line and the perpetrators of this ground attack must be prosecuted.

Jordanian security officials are still searching for the armed militant attackers who opened fire on Friday, November 1, during a funeral service at a Greek Orthodox church in Kirkuk province.

In this ground attack, 9 people were killed and 40 people were injured. No group has yet claimed responsibility for this ground attack.

The American embassy in Amman also announced that after this ground attack, security measures were increased in shopping malls, foreign embassies and other parts of Jordan.
