Basant: In less than two months we have greatly weakened the vital artery of Iran's oil.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant says his country's "economic isolation operation" has greatly weakened Iran's vital oil artery.
Mr. Bessant wrote on Channel X on Friday: "The US Department of the Treasury has launched an economic isolation operation against Iran to tighten the ring of siege and block all possible sources of income for the Revolutionary Guards and the Iranian government." "In less than two months since the start of this operation, we have been severely damaged and repulsed in all parts of Iran's vital oil artery."
He added: "Iran's fleet of shadow oil tankers has been depleted, its main oil export terminal is empty, and the country's oil reserves at sea have run out."
Referring to Iran's economic crisis, the American Treasury Secretary wrote: "The common people of Iran are still facing a growing economic crisis, because instead of spending their resources on the welfare of the people inside the country, their government spends them on violence and assassinations abroad. Mr. Bessant also wrote that Donald Trump is taking actions that previous US presidents have "delayed for a long time."
In the end he emphasized: "The US is no longer managing the threat of Iran; We will finish him."
