Trump on the conflict with Iran: We will achieve everything we want.
Speaking to reporters on the grounds of the White House while leaving the White House for a trip to Florida, Mr. Trump described Iran as a "collapsing country" and said: "They are also struggling with inflation and they have no money." He called the inflation rate in Iran "301 percent" and said that it is the "highest inflation rate in the world."
He emphasized again that America controls the Strait of Hormuz and said: "We will take out as much oil as we want from there. Our navy has kept it closed to Iran and everyone else is extracting oil [from the Strait of Hormuz]."
At the same time, Mr. Trump asked the question, "Are we going to do it all at once, or let them break up and gradually collapse."
The American president reiterated that the control of the Strait of Hormuz is under the control of the United States and said: "The volume of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz today is more than a year ago."
