š» The Iranian government announced the traffic management regulations of the executive bodies with the aim of reducing fuel consumption, reducing the use of private cars and increasing productivity.
According to this regulation, there is an obligation on the management bodies to provide at least two days of remote work per week to employees who can perform their duties in full or in part in their absence.
Also, every office must set one day a week as a "day without a private car" and encourage employees to use alternative means of transportation.
According to this decision, the implementing bodies have a maximum of "three years" to reach "at least 70%" of the employees using alternative methods of private vehicles.
These methods include walking, cycling, using public transport, sharing a car with at least three passengers and ride-hailing services and electric motorcycles.
