The Israeli POW announced that two Israeli captive soldiers who were shot and wounded this morning in Hebron died due to the severity of their injuries.

According to sources in the Israeli army, two armed militant attackers, apparently Palestinians, were also shot dead.

In this shooting that took place in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, five captive soldiers were injured, and the condition of the other three soldiers was not reported.

The place of the shooting was a military checkpoint at the entrance to Hebron.

We previously reported that following this incident, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, ordered the city of Hebron to be under "siege and severe restrictions".

Mr. Netanyahu also said that the IDF prevented a "major ground attack" from happening. The released videos show a long armed confrontation between captured Israeli forces and armed Palestinian militants near a military checkpoint, at the northern entrance to the city of Hebron.
