A magnitude 7 earthquake shook mountainous areas of Tibet on Thursday evening, October 22, and according to Chinese state media, at least 16 people were killed.
The authorities declared a state of emergency and sent rescue teams to the area. Also, 54 people were injured in this earthquake.
