Following the reports of the last few days, the American media announced the possibility of renewing the US and Israeli attacks on Iran after the mid-term congressional elections. At the same time, for the first time, the attention of these media was directed to the environmental consequences of the Iran war. The reason for this attention is the publication of a study from the University of South Florida, which, based on an analysis of satellite images, shows that the extent of oil slicks in the Persian Gulf in March increased fourfold compared to the same period last year.
