The price of oil in East Asian markets set a new record early Friday and Brent oil from the North Sea rose to more than $113 per barrel.
This is the highest price for Brent oil in the last 5 months, when energy markets have always been affected by the disruption of shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz caused by the war of the United States and Israel's captives in Iran.
Donald Trump, the president of the United States, claimed on Thursday that Iran is seeking to raise the price of oil by publishing "fake news" on the eve of the US midterm elections. The President of the United States claimed that the oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz is more today than before the war, and therefore Iran is taking any means to raise the price of oil. Mr. Trump made these statements while the price of a barrel of Brent oil reached $112 on Thursday, which was the highest price of this commodity in the last five months. The elections for the American Congress will be held on November 3 (in 10 days) and before that there will be parliamentary elections in captivity.
