At least four people were killed and one person was injured due to floods caused by storm "Adam" in southern France.

On Tuesday, October 20, this storm caused widespread flooding in southern France, flooding streets and disrupting transportation in these areas.

Among the victims were two women, aged 86 and 26, who were found drowned in the basement of a house in the Bouches-du-Rhône area.

The island of Corsica in southeastern France was also damaged by these severe weather conditions. Local media reported that on Tuesday, the flood washed away an SUV. One of the tenants managed to escape through the window, but the body of another person was found.

Authorities have not yet released additional details about the fourth victim.

In the towns of Morey and Saint-Martin-de-Croix, located between Montpellier and Marseille, dozens of residents were housed in emergency shelters after the floods. Authorities said one person was injured in the same area. Also, the area's roads and railway lines were disrupted.
