Donald Trump has accused Iran of "fake news" about mine explosions and ground attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, and he is trying his best to raise oil prices before the midterm elections in the United States.
The American president claimed that the oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz is now more than before the war, and therefore Iran is taking any means to raise the price of oil.
Mr. Trump made these statements while today the price of a barrel of Brent oil reached more than $112, which is the highest price of this commodity in the last 5 months.
Mr Trump described the Islamic Republic of Iran as an "evil" government that continues to kill protesters and other dissidents.
He accused the Iranian government of killing 75,000 protesters in less than seven months.
