The US Department of the Treasury announced today that five people, four companies and nine ships have been added to the list of people and entities that have been sanctioned as part of the Iran-related sanctions.

The U.S. Treasury Department said in a statement that sanctions had been imposed against the law firm Krankis & Krankis, which operates in Greece and Panama and "supported Iranian shipping for years."

As part of the new US sanctions, sanctions were imposed on two shipping companies in Dubai and Singapore for alleged cooperation with Iran's shadow fleet.
