According to sources of knowledge who spoke to the news network Sibias - a partner of the BBC in America - Elon Musk's decision to impose restrictions on Ukraine's use of SpaceX's satellite communication network led to this.
This satellite service, which is used to operate drones, aimed at several targets and protecting centers and positions in Ukraine, faced a significant decrease in speed last week.
It is not yet clear how Elon Musk's order to limit these services was implemented.
Musk is providing SpaceX's Starshield technology to the US government. He said last week that the US government controls who has access to this technology and what level of service each user receives.
On Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, after meeting with Donald Trump's representative, Steve Vitkoff, said that the exchange of information between Ukraine and the US had been re-established.
