Mark Rubio's trip to Samarkand; America is trying to expand relations with Central Asian countries Farhad Mohammadi

BBC, London The Secretary of State of the United States went to Uzbekistan on a trip with the aim of "strengthening trade and diplomatic relations with Central Asia". Mark Rubio arrived in Samarkand last night and was received by Seyda Mirzayeva, the daughter of the President of Uzbekistan and the head of the presidential administration of this country. On Monday, Mr. Rubio met with his counterparts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, and the sides reportedly discussed security, trade, improving regional security and shared concerns.
