Saudi Arabia International Golf Tournament Postponed Due to Houthi Attacks on Riyadh Asian Golf Tour officials announced that they have postponed the Saudi Arabia International Golf Tournament until further notice following the deadly Houthi attack in Yemen at Riyadh International Airport. In recent weeks, the Houthis have attacked airports, ports and oil facilities in Saudi Arabia using ballistic missiles and UAVs. In last weekend's attack on Riyadh, at least 12 people were killed and more than 300 people were injured. The Asian Golf Tour announced in a statement that the decision to postpone the tournament was made after examining the implementation and logistical problems of holding this event and with the aim of maintaining its international standards. This tournament, supported by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, and the total amount of prizes is five million dollars, was supposed to take place between November 18 and 21 at the Riyadh Golf Club. Chu Min Thant, president of the Asian Golf Tour, expressed hope that players will be able to participate in the tournament in Riyadh in the future. A new date for this competition has not yet been announced.
