Iran announced that it summoned the British ambassador to Tehran to the foreign ministry and threatened that it may "reconsider seriously" the relations with London.

Iran announced that it summoned the British ambassador to Tehran to the foreign ministry and threatened that it may "reconsider seriously" the relations with London.

The reason for summoning the British ambassador was published due to the state's accusations against Iran over the security incident at Pardford base.

British Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, said yesterday in the House of Commons that "it is very likely that the suspicious plan to target Pardford base was carried out in coordination with Iran and the Revolutionary Guards."

Iran's foreign ministry announced that the head of the office for Western European affairs told the British ambassador today: "the British government must provide as soon as possible documents and evidence substantiating its accusations against Iran regarding the alleged incident." Otherwise, the Islamic Republic of Iran will seriously change the bilateral relations, whose consequences will be the responsibility of the British government.
