The American Civil Aviation Authority has warned the airlines of that country to be careful when they fly to Saudi Arabia or pass through its airspace.
This institution announced the reason for its warning as security threats caused by continued military activity and the disruption of navigation systems, and described the current situation as "potentially dangerous".
This warning, valid until December 10, was issued following the attacks at Riyadh International Airport on Saturday and Sunday. In the ground attack on Saturday, 13 people were killed and more than 300 people were injured.
The American Aviation Administration announced that these threats could endanger planes at any altitude, including when crossing airspace, approaching landing and takeoff. This warning also includes aircraft registered in the United States.
The airport in Riyadh will remain closed to flights until at least Monday evening EST.
Delta has not yet responded to a Reuters request for comment on the warning.
