Afshin Asadzadeh, the governor of Angut confirmed the damage to the facilities and agricultural lands of this city.

He told the IRNA news agency: "Heavy rains this morning caused floods in the city of Angut and damage to residential, commercial and agricultural infrastructure and livestock."

According to him, this flood disrupted traffic and economic activity in cities and villages.

The Meteorological Department of Ardabil District has warned of particularly heavy rains in the northern and eastern areas of the district today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday).
