🔻 Parliament Security Committee Spokesperson: The seven conditions are unchangeable
The spokesman for the National Security Commission of the Parliament says that Iran's seven conditions for negotiations with the US were announced by the "highest authorities of the system" and "this is not a subject that can be violated or changed at various levels of decision-making in Iran".
The spokesperson of the Iranian Parliament's National Security Commission also said: "According to America's performance record, seven conditions must be met, because America usually enters under the negotiation table, turns its back on diplomacy and is untrustworthy." Therefore, no sane person can accept that any action be taken before fulfilling the seven conditions signed by the presidents of Iran and the US."
Regarding America's response to the seven-day plan, he said: "Contrary to media and propaganda claims, the Qatari mediator presented America's view to us at the same time Araghchi was in New York and even before his departure to Iran." Hassan Qashqavi also said that the other side's response to the seven-day proposal is that Iran should first open the Strait of Hormuz and then the seven conditions will be gradually fulfilled.
Iranian officials say these seven conditions have already been included in the Islamabad MoU.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin spokesman said today that Vladimir Putin conveyed Iran's latest views to Donald Trump.
